Local Ordinances prohibit the discharge of anything other than rainfall into the storm drain system.

Because the storm drains are separate from our sanitary sewer systems, polluted waters flow directly into local creeks and the San Francisco Bay without treatment, harming wildlife and polluting our waterways.

Any violation of this storm drain ordinance is illegal and could result in a fine. You can make a difference by calling!
